InnovateX was founded on a simple observation: the quality of a decision depends less on how much information exists and more on how rigorously that information is interpreted, challenged and connected. Most organisations have no dedicated, independent function whose only job is to test the thinking before the decision is made.

We deliberately avoid the conventional consulting reflex of producing lengthy documents. A hundred-page report can obscure a decision as easily as it informs it.

InnovateX is led personally by its founder, Gareth Vallentyn. Engagements are conducted directly by an experienced practitioner — not delegated down a hierarchy of junior analysts. This is deliberate: independent judgement of this kind cannot be outsourced or templated.
It also keeps the practice honest about scale. InnovateX does not present itself as a large firm. Its value lies in depth of thinking and independence of perspective, applied to a small number of genuinely important decisions.
